CITY LIFE PROJECTS LTD are looking for a highly experienced Hotel Receptionist for The Park Hotel, situated on the outskirts of Liverpool (L30). The Park Hotel is a 61 Bedroom hotel, also housing a beautiful Restaurant & Bars, 2 Function rooms and 5 conference rooms. Banqueting up to 500 covers per night and hosts in excess of 70 weddings per annum.


Receptionist is required for superb Hotel and the position is available for immediate start but would wait for the right person to work their notice.

The position is to manage a small reception team ensuring that all enquiries and confirmations are dealt with in a prompt and professional manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As Receptionist you will have excellent management skills who is highly organised and a reliable individual.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with staff and guests and will be driven to exceed all guest expectations.
  • Be well presented and customer focused, a good command of the English language and good telephone manner is required.
  • Be someone who thrives under pressure while remaining calm and delivering excellent customer service.
  • The role may involve Duty Management shifts dealing with any customer issues or complaints.
  • Be responsible for billing both the Hotel and restaurant guests.

Essential Criteria:

  • You will have recent reception experience within a good quality hotel.
  • You will be driven to providing good customer service and be well presented and polite.
  • Be able to take responsibility and instruction as well as working under your own initiative.
  • Have excellent communication, be hardworking and flexible, be able to maximise revenue, be a confident and self motivated person able to work well within and lead a team.
  • Good computer skills are also needed and experience of website management, checking in and out guests and making reservations including systems like guest-line is essential.
  • Be able to work on a number of projects simultaneously
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and be a confident problem solver, liaising with other heads of department to ensure that the customer has everything that they need.
